hmm, favorite word. I rather like "frak" - a Battlestar Gallactica that neatly got them around the censors for swearing, while creating a satisfying safe swear word for the rest of us to use too. :)

That cowl looks SO comfy. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway!

My favorite word of the moment seems to be "fantastic" given how much I've been using it lately. That's not a terribly interesting word, so I'll give you "untenable" which also gets used a lot around our lab.

And just for a three-fer, may I present to you "teneums" which is the word given to me by the verification. Not a real word, but it should be. And it should be a noun that refers to the boring waiting period where it is too short to bother getting a book out, but too long to not get bored out of your mind.

My favorite item in your store is the chic hobo gloves in white. I've never seen such sophisticated looking hobo gloves!

Anne said...

My favorite Shakespeare quote is "[...] it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

I'm a grad student...we get to use that quote a lot. ;)

This is beautiful...and I'm really chilly right now and would love it if a soft cowl were around my neck! I don't truly have a favorite word, per se, but really, how can you go wrong with "chocolate"? (word, color or form -- all good!)

Favorite Shakespeare quote -- the entire St Crispin's Day speech from Henry V...I'll leave you with the last snippet!
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Whenever my husband leaves the house he says, "I go, I go; look how I go, Swifter than arrow from the Tartar's bow." (Midsummer Night's Dream) Not quite the St. Crispin's Day speech, but we find it highly amusing.
