Wearing my long brown hair in two braids and picking flowers are what I do best.
Music from the 1970's is my favorite.
Namely...Keith Green. Who I always called "Green Keith" until I finally figured it out.
And I love the harmonies of Simon and Garfunkle. What can I say?
So when I saw this purple tie dye fabric, I swooned. Isn't it so pretty? I love it! I almost kept it. But I decided to share it instead. So, here is another pillowcase... or rather two, for sale in the shop!
And here are some more pretty etsy hippies form other shops!
{click on images to see them in the shops}
I want this pillow!
Owl fabric. Hoot.
Yummy yo yos.
Pretty car seat quilt with hippie dandelion fluffs.
I want this.
And just for fun, Here's a song I love, love, love.
Hello!!
Well, what a loooong, epic space of nothing!
And suddenly, BAM! Here we are again!
I am here to tell all you lovely readers (or 'readers in waiting', I
should say..) that I have made some pillow cases!! Not just any pillow
cases... FUN pillowcases! CAMPING PILLOW CASES! ANYTHING-YOU-LIKE PILLOW
CASES!!! Pillow cases you don't have to worry about keeping white.
You may most certainly view this one in the shop by clicking on the picture below.
They are so much fun! I started making them for my friends who were getting married last summer, (and believe me, there were a few..) and they and everyone in my family seemed to like them so much I soon found myself making pillowcases for everyone I knew! Genevieve even made me one for my birthday! =] They are indispensable for road trips, camping, beach napping, book reading... and the list goes on.
I hope you are all having a superb summer! We have had a smasher so far! Especially having the time to lay on a quilt on the grass and read happy books.
This is one of the things I've enjoyed the most.
This weekend we're hanging out with our cousins, doing nothing but fun stuff!
What are you doing?
This is the only one in the shop so far, but I have a few more made that will be in the shop soon!
I tell thee, good reader, if thou wisheth to make the acquaintance of Mr. Pleasedale, a most delightful fellow, please click merrily on a picture and you shall indeed see and know him better hereafter in the shop. There is a most pleasing account of him in his description. I pray thee, read it and thou shalt see what a virtuous bird he is.
I thank thee, truly, from my heart, for thy kind perusal of this blog, our happy dwelling.
I pray God keep thee and thy kindred in good health and spirits until we may meet again.
What merry notes on the chilly air are these? 'Tis the wooing of the gentlemanly owl to his lover November....
