My favorite Shakespeare quote is actually sonnet xxix:

When in disgrace with Fortune and men's eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possess'd,
Desiring this man's art, and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least.
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven's gate;
For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings

It's a beautiful cowl and I'd love to win it! Thanks for the giveaway. One of my favorite words is oubliette, just because it sounds so beautiful and strange. (It means, apparently, a deep dark hole into which you cast people whom you want to forget about.) In French, I love the word insolite, which means odd and strange in a good, poetic, unusual way.

Fave Quote: "Let me not to the marriage of true minds admit impediments. Love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken; It is the star to every wandering bark, Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come:Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,But bears it out even to the edge of doom.If this be error and upon me proved,I never writ, nor no man ever loved."

How beautiful! I love the chunky knit scarf you've got on etsy as well. (I kind of want to buy it, but I have spent far too much money this month. Perhaps I'll get money for Christmas though, hmm.)

Anyway, I'm only going to leave one comment, so favourite word... that's difficult. I notice words I don't like much more than the ones I do - moist, for instance is my least favourite word ever. I kind of like the word 'cacophony' though. It's such a mess of a word and it's fun to say.

Fetch me that flower; the herb I shew'd thee once:
The juice of it on sleeping eye-lids laid
Will make or man or woman madly dote
Upon the next live creature that it sees.
